AI-Enabled Cybercrime Awareness: Recognising, Resisting, and Responding to AI-Powered Threats
Cybercrime has entered a new and far more dangerous era. Generative AI is no longer just a productivity tool — it has become one of the most powerful weapons available to criminals today, and the speed at which it is evolving is outpacing the ability of most employees and organisations to keep up. AI-generated deepfake voices, fabricated video calls, and hyper-realistic phishing emails are now virtually indistinguishable from the real thing, and the scale at which criminals can launch these attacks means no individual, role, or organisation is too small to be targeted.

This 1-day practical workshop brings participants fully up to speed with today's AI-driven threat landscape — why it is escalating so quickly, and most importantly, the practical precautions, prevention habits, and mitigation steps they can put in place immediately to protect themselves and their organisation.

Through real-world case studies, guided demonstrations, and hands-on exercises, participants will discover how to spot AI-generated threats, verify suspicious requests with confidence, and build repeatable habits that protect themselves and their organisation. By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to apply practical verification techniques to reduce risk and support a stronger cyber-aware culture at work.
